If you are considering switching to an electric car or truck, you have likely given some thought to the driving range – the distance an EV can travel on a single charge before requiring a recharge. This is a vital aspect of determining if a battery-powered car or truck is suitable for your lifestyle. Although range is not the only factor to consider when deciding if an EV is the right choice for you – factors such as charging speed, reliability, efficiency, and safety also come into play – for many people, it is the most significant factor to consider.
If you’re in search of this information, you’ve reached the appropriate location. We’ve compiled a list of all the electric vehicles currently available for purchase and categorized them based on their EPA-estimated driving range. You’ll find all of this information listed below, so start scrolling.
Note from the editors: The list exclusively features vehicles that have been endorsed by the US Environmental Protection Agency. Any other electric vehicles, even if they are receiving attention, will not be incorporated in this catalog until they are ready for sale in the United States and have received verified range ratings from the EPA. Additionally, all prices comprise shipping fees, but could lack viable incentives or tax cuts.

The 2023 Rivian R1S, which is Rivian’s second electric vehicle, adopts an SUV profile with a two-box design, abandoning the pickup bed. The new design allows for up to seven passengers between its three rows or additional storage space for cargo in the back, making it more versatile. Although the SUV has a slightly lower range of 321 miles between charges than its predecessor, this is mainly due to its aerodynamic and weight differences, and the loss of the last 7 miles is negligible. The starting price for the 2023 Rivian R1S is $78,000.

2023 BMW i4
Antuan Goodwin/CNET Cars
The BMW i4 sedan has a conventional appearance as compared to the automaker’s other electric cars. It is difficult to differentiate between the electric and gas-powered model at first glance.
